APP Fort Lauderdale Tournament 2025

Last month, the highly anticipated APP Fort Lauderdale Tournament took place, drawing in top pickleball players from around the country. Among the competitors were three exceptional pro players from Potenza Pickleball, showcasing their skills and expertise on the court.

The APP became the first-ever pickleball organization to establish an official headquarters and training center, which will be the site of the Humana APP Fort Lauderdale Open. The Fort is nestled within the 93-acre Snyder Park and features 43 courts, including the world’s first pickleball stadium.

Meet the Pro Players

The Potenza team brought their A-game to the tournament, with Leslie Teruel leading the pack. Teruel utilized the 100% graphite Potenza ULTRA edgeless model, known for its lightweight yet durable construction that offers optimal performance on the court.

Veronica Hernandez, another standout player, relied on her Potenza P+ POWERSPIN paddle, featuring the innovative Corex3 platform. This cutting-edge technology provided Hernandez with enhanced power and spin control, giving her a competitive edge during intense matches.

Eduardo Bilbao, the third member of the Potenza team, showcased his skills with the Potenza KOMBA pro carbon fiber model. This paddle is designed for precision and power, allowing Bilbao to deliver impressive shots and dominate the competition.

Throughout the tournament, the Potenza pro players demonstrated their exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. Their strategic gameplay, coupled with the advanced technology of Potenza paddles, helped them secure victories and advance through the ranks. They successfully brought in 4 medals in total: women's doubles GOLD, and men's doubles SILVER.
